I took my fiancée Laura out for a romantic picnic at Rocks Riverside Park today (complete with my Geelong Cats branded picnic blanket!) and I took along my camera as well because why let an opportunity pass? It’s a really beautiful place, with nice open areas and of course the Brisbane River snaking past. Laura has an obsession with going on the wrong side of fences to explore so when she sat down overlooking the river (on a very precarious ledge) I decided to secretly capture the moment 😉

I mentioned a week or two ago that I wanted to capture more humanity with my photography and Laura’s inquisitiveness is one of my favourite things about her so I’m glad I could capture it, even though she hates me taking photos of her (this is posted with permission 😛 )
